G-SHOCK watches by Casio since 1983

Taking Toughness to the Limit

G-SHOCK, the watch that brought the new concept of toughness to the timepiece.

It began with a reckless challenge to the conventional wisdom of the day, a developer’s belief that it was possible to construct a watch that wouldn’t break, even if dropped. Project Team Tough was formed to build it in 1981.

The team created over 200 prototypes one after another over a period of about two years. They finally arrived at a shock-resistant structure. This marked the birth of a technology that is tough to the core.

And G-SHOCK has continued its unceasing evolution ever since, in pursuit of greater toughness in every respect, from structure and materials to functions.

Stronger than ever, and targeting even greater strength, G-SHOCK’s challenge is never-ending.

Unceasing evolution

HISTORY of G-SHOCK watches from birth to present time

G-Shock G-STEEL 2100D series

Introducing the G-SHOCK GM-2110D — an analogue-digital combination G-STEEL based on the GA-2100, now with a stylish metal bezel and band update.

Meticulously forged and polished, the uniform octagonal stainless-steel bezel anchors a simple, no-fuss design with a sophisticated yet tough look. Made of high-rigidity glass-fibre-reinforced fine resin, the case is the slimmest of all G-SHOCK combination models at just 11.8 mm.

The metal band, together with a pop of fresh colour from the metallic brass dial, is up for anything — work or play.

Choose from sky blue, orange or lime green, in addition to classic hues of navy and silver. All with high-brightness double LED light, ensuring an easy read even in the dark.

G-Shock 2100 series

G-SHOCK have always embraced the spirit of challenge in their untiring pursuit of the ultimate toughness.

In 1983, when the resolve to build a watch that would never break produced the very first G-SHOCK, the DW-5000. Not much later, in 1989, the AW-500 arrived, offering the same shock resistance but as an analog watch

Fast forward to today, and the GA-2100 line hits the scene, the timeless spirit of toughness of those two epoch-making models, fused cutting-edge technologies to create timepieces like nothing you’ve ever seen before.

An octagonal bezel derived from the iconic design of the DW-5000. Minimal design inherited from the AW-500.

A commitment to delivering the slimmest, most compact form, but with all the strength of its predecessors intact, a feat achieved with the Carbon Core Guard structure as well as a new and improved module design.

Inheritance of the origin to its roots while advancing further still, the GA-2100 beautifully complements today’s lifestyles.

The new G-SHOCK standard-bearer is here.

G-Shock 5000 series

Since the debut in 1983 of the very first G-SHOCK, the DW-5000C, the brand has embraced the challenge of continual evolution. The shock-resistant construction, born from the developer’s passion for crafting a durable watch that would not break even if dropped, and the iconic streamlined form, which was the natural result of that pursuit of strength and toughness, are evidence of the Casio quest for advancement and untiring innovation, as still seen in 5000 and 5600 G-SHOCK watches today.

G-Shock 5600 series

Since the debut in 1983 of the very first G-SHOCK, the DW-5000C, the brand has embraced the challenge of continual evolution. The shock-resistant construction, born from the developer’s passion for crafting a durable watch that would not break even if dropped, and the iconic streamlined form, which was the natural result of that pursuit of strength and toughness, are evidence of the Casio quest for advancement and untiring innovation, as still seen in 5000 and 5600 G-SHOCK watches today.

G-Shock 6900 series

The 6900 series, you cannot mention G-SHOCK without touching on its line of unforgettable collections: the 6900 series. With its rounded form a departure from the squared design of the original DW-5000 model, the series won fans as a “Triple Graph” model upon its 1995 debut and has steadfastly remained just as popular to this day.

New designs and features drawn from global cultures make the 6900 series a diverse branch on the G-SHOCK family tree.

A quarter-century after its debut, the 6900 series has evolved even further, now the covered metal model. This new style keeps the series’ key design factors—rounded shape, “Triple Graph”, front button—while adding a stainless steel bezel with quality finish for fresh new color, material, and finish. The result is a watch with an appearance that radiates an original presence and individuality.

Evolving and remaining constant: the mark of strength that surpasses time. Enter the new age of the 6900.

Master of G series

For those who are not satisfied with the ordinary, but prefer to leave their comfort zones and seek out the challenge in every ultimate experience. Whether on land, on water or in the air: you can always rely on the MASTER OF G series, even under the most extreme conditions. The watches impress not only on account of their absolute toughness and innovative features, such as an altimeter, thermometer and digital compass, but also with their sporty and striking look.

RANGEMAN & MUDMAN

Instinct alone is not enough. The models combine ultimate toughness with sophisticated sensor technology. You can measure compass direction, atmospheric pressure, altitude and temperature at the touch of a button. Do what needs to be done. No more uncertainty — get precise information in advance with G-SHOCK RANGEMAN or MUDMAN.

MUDMASTER

Whether its the exhausting everyday grind or extreme outdoor conditions: A MUDMASTER watch makes you the master of any situation. The range of watches has been designed to withstand the toughest of conditions. Thanks to Triple Sensor technology with a digital compass, barometer, altimeter and thermometer, you’ll reach your goal even when challenges seem insurmountable. MUDMASTER — the perfect union of toughness and technical finesse.

GRAVITYMASTER

For use by high flyers: Developed by pilots in the British Royal Air Force and tested in demanding day-to-day situations, GRAVITYMASTER watches defy extreme conditions, making them a reliable companion for real adventurers, outdoor enthusiasts and even pilots. These robust watches are characterised by their high-quality, perfectly finished materials, striking analogue designs and innovative technology, such as radio control, solar-powered operation and Smart Access.

G-Shock GST-B400 Series

An ultra-thin module encased in carbon fibre makes for a stylish G-SHOCK G-STEEL timepiece with the slimmest profile yet.

Strong, yet lightweight, the carbon core guard structure absorbs external shocks and retains Bluetooth connectivity and solar power functionality even with smaller components and a thinner module. Measuring just 12.9 mm from the back of the case to the top of the bezel, the G-SHOCK GST-B400 is over a millimetre thinner than its predecessor.

Your choice of four distinctive styles — the simplicity of a silver metal band and silver case; light silver case set against dark resin band; dial in dramatic red vapour deposition finish paired with a black ion-plated bezel; or dial in bold blue vapour deposition finish with black ion-plated bezel and band. With top bezels treated with five different finishes and middle bezels treated with four, these G-STEEL timepieces deliver exceptional metal textures from every angle.

*Slimmest profile as of December 2020

G-Shock GD-010 SERIES

The digital G-SHOCK GD-010 delivers handy features like world time and stopwatch, as well as a high-brightness LED light, which can be easily accessed from the large button on front of the case, ensuring visibility even in the dark.

Made with bio-based resin and equipped with a 10-year battery, this G-SHOCK is great if you want to reduce environmental impact.
