The GA-2100-1A1 is the stealth-black original that started the CasiOak phenomenon — the watch that caught the world off guard in 2019 and became one of G-SHOCK’s bestselling models of all time. Every element is finished in black, from the case and bezel to the dial, hands and band, with only subtle grey index marks and hands providing contrast for a murdered-out look that appeals to those who prefer a watch that is admired when noticed rather than one that announces its presence.

Underneath the blacked-out exterior sits the Carbon Core Guard structure, where a carbon fibre-reinforced resin case protects the module while keeping the thickness to just 11.8 mm — remarkably slim for a G-SHOCK. The bezel and band are made from bio-based resin derived from renewable organic resources, reducing environmental impact without compromising toughness. At only 51 grams, the watch practically disappears on the wrist.

The three-dimensional dial features a notched dial ring, cut index marks and a small digital LCD window that handles world time, stopwatch, timer and alarm functions. A Double LED light system — one Super Illuminator for the analogue face and a separate LED backlight for the digital display — ensures readability in the dark. Full G-SHOCK functionality includes a 1/100-second stopwatch, world time, countdown timer, five daily alarms and hand shift feature.
