The SSCU09R100 is the vibrant red edition of Swatch’s SCUBAQUA collection — a jellyfish-inspired diving watch named after the lion’s mane, one of the largest jellyfish species in the world. Part of the original SCUBAQUA lineup, this is the colourway that leans furthest into raw energy: transparent red biosourced material set against matte white Bioceramic, pulsing with the kind of visual intensity that makes it impossible to miss on the wrist. At 44 mm across and 15 mm thick, the proportions are bold, but the Bioceramic and biosourced material combination keeps the weight down and the comfort up.

The case splits between opaque matte white Bioceramic sections and shiny transparent red biosourced panels, creating a layered, almost anatomical look that echoes the translucent body of its jellyfish namesake. A unidirectional 120-click bezel sits on top with glow-in-the-dark markings, and the crown is positioned at 10 o’clock in matte white Bioceramic — the SCUBAQUA signature that gives the case its distinctive asymmetric silhouette. Under the crystal, the transparent red dial carries white printed indexes and Arabic numerals alongside luminescent hands and hour markers for readability in low light.
