The GA-2110SU-3A is the green, “Utility Color” variant of G-SHOCK’s octagonal CasiOak — built on the same thin analog-digital chassis as the GA-2100 but with a redesigned bezel and a colour palette pulled toward streetwear and military-leaning earth tones. The “SU” lineup uses practical, utilitarian colours across the bezel, dial and band rather than the cleaner single-colour treatments of the standard 2100, and the -3A lands on an olive/army green that pairs the green resin band with a darker bezel and dial assembly for a layered, mil-spec look without crossing into full camouflage territory.
What separates the GA-2110SU specifically from the regular GA-2100 is the bezel construction. Casio uses a double-molded bezel cover here — two layers of resin molded together over the octagonal frame — which gives the bezel a multi-tone, slightly sculpted appearance compared to the flat single-colour bezel of the base model. The case underneath is the same one that made the CasiOak a runaway success: a carbon-fibre-reinforced resin shell built around the Carbon Core Guard structure, with an inner carbon case taking on the shock-protection job traditionally handled by a thick bezel. The result is the line’s signature thin profile — 11.8 mm — at the same 45.4 mm wide, 51-gram footprint as every other resin 2100. The dial is the standard 2100 layout: octagonal frame, recessed analog sub-dial, small LCD window, applied indexes with Neobrite lume on the hands.
On the functional side, this is a battery-powered, non-Bluetooth variant of the 2100, so the toolkit stays focused: world time across 31 zones and 48 cities with daylight saving on/off and home/world city swapping, a 1/100-second stopwatch with elapsed, split and 1st–2nd place times, a 24-hour countdown timer, five daily alarms, hourly time signal, full auto-calendar to 2099, 12/24-hour format and a hand-shift feature that moves the analog hands clear of the LCD when needed. The double LED light handles both the analog face and the digital display through a Super Illuminator with selectable 1.5- or 3-second duration and afterglow. Shock resistance and 20 bar (200-metre) water resistance carry over from the rest of the 2100 family, and power comes from a pair of SR726W cells rated for roughly three years.
